The WAP Micro is a reduced form-factor version of the original RECoN™ Wireless LAN design for use where the smaller size is critical. Typical applications have included mounting the RECoN™ Micro onto unmanned miniature Arial or Ground Vehicles.
 The WAP Micro has two 200 mW wireless NICs, just like the WAP SE. It differs, however, in that the circuitry is enclosed in a much smaller case. The WAP Wearable has three external terminals: two for the antennas and one for the power source. The WAP Micro's antenna and batteries are not housed within its case; they are attached utilizing the external terminals. The antennas are mounted on the chassis or frame of the vehicle. One or two batteries are attached to the power cable (supplied with the device) which is then attached to the unit's external power terminal.
