Anvil Technologies presents wireless communications technology to Ottawa Hospitals:

Anvil in conjunction with Bell Canada was invited to present its wireless communications technologies to the Ottawa Regional Hospitals. Also in attendance were representatives from other services including police, fire, Red Cross, EMS, Ontario Fire Marshall, etc.

The purpose was to introduce some of the wireless communication technologies now available for use in emergency management situations. The audience had the opportunity to listen to various experts in the field, including hands-on access to the various technologies available.

Technologies demonstrated: BreadCrumb mobile wireless network, Voice over IP, live video, RFID, internet access, wireless tablets and PDAs, etc.
